DAIJANG VILLAGE GOLDEN JUBILEE STONE

Daijang Village, the humble Bethlehem of the Zomis was established way back in 1948 by Pu Tungnung Khupchinzam, Pu M. Tutgoulam and Pu T. Goukhopau. It was initially called Tungnung Daijang, as time passed, this hujmble village was occupied not only by the Tungnung but by different clans, so the clan name Tungnung was no longer mentioned.
In 1998, it has celebrated it's Golden Jubilee.
